To celebrate the 60th anniversary of CUHK, The Federation of Alumni Associations of CUHK will organize the "Wellness Sports Day" on May 13, 2023 (Saturday), aiming to bring together alumni of different generations to compete in sports and celebrate University’s anniversary together. It is the first time that three Newly Emerged Sports, including Roundnet, Dodgebee and Floor Curling, are provided for alumni and their children to play together, and it is also a great reunion chance for classmates and friends to get together. Each adult participant will receive a limited-edition souvenir sponsored by the CUHK Convocation - "CUHK 60th Anniversary Commemorative Magnet - Bus Stop" (first-come-first-served basis).

Newly Emerged Sports Experience From 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Families are encouraged to take part in Roundnet, Dodgebee and Floor Curling. Each session of the newly emerged sports lasts for 1 hour. It trains the agility of the participants, as well as cultivates team spirit, while having a great family time. Children aged 6 or above and adults are welcome to join. Quota is limited and please register early!

Collegiate Basketball Final Competition From 4:00pm to 5:00pm

The collegiate basketball final competition will be held in the University Sports Centre. Professor Rocky Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK and Ms. Lina Yan, Chairperson of 60th Anniversary Celebration Steering Committee will be invited to officiate the Tip-off ceremony. Also, don’t miss out the performance by the CUHK Rope Skipping Team and Dr. Phoenix during the half-time break!

Campus Transportation

Round-trip special shuttle bus service for participants will be provided from 12:15pm to 6:00pm, running between University Station and University Sports Centre. Alumni are strongly encouraged to take public transportation due to limited parking spaces.
